I enjoy the time at Girffith University. I always want to become a music teacher, so I decided to study overseas in Australia under the recommendation of my former teacher.
I did some music since I was at primary school, and won some national prize, so I decided to pursue my passion. The selection process was very stringent. In order to have a stress-free application and enrolment process, I just needed to follow the instructions.
I did not have any scholarships or funding. My parents paid for all my tuition. In my free time, I taught Music to some primary school students, and earned some extra money.
The course was very value for money. The best bits are I could study with some of the best lecturers in the world. I spent around 30 hours a week. The lectuers and tutors are marvelous. I received all the support that I needed. The music teaching is a very new area in Vietnam, my country. So I believe once I completed my studies, I could become the leading expert in my field.
The university facilities are very large. I enjoyed the local areas so much. The locals are friendly, but I prefered to be with the Vietnamese group. The accommodation is very value for money. It has been easy to find part time job in my area as a music teacher.
My job prospect has definitely increased thanks to my studies at Griffith Uni. I will be keeping in touch with other alumni. I am a senior music teacher in an international school.
