I learnt to study hard and well, with incredible support from faculty and students, I've made some incredible friends and wish I had started ten years earlier!
Scholarships are only available for national students. I was blessed to be the recipient of one of those scholarships for 12 months of my degree studies.
The course was value for money. Lecturers were incredibly supportive. I grew in confidence in my ability to facilitate groups and counselling. I needed to allow 6 hours per week per subject for study apart from contact or class time.
I enjoyed having coffees with fellow students at the cafe on campus and the local McCafe. Facilities are modern and landscaped gardens are full of flowers.
Yes my job prospects have definetely increased as a result of my studies. I will be keeping in touch with fellow alumni as I have made some incredible friends. I have subscribed to the Alumni newsletter. I now work for a Christian agency running Group facilitation and doing counselling for a wide variety of people
