I am really enjoying the course because it is a chance to get out of the house and learn something different and useful. I haven't taken on all the subjects because it's important not to overload/take on too much or else you'll stress yourself out. Aim high but take it one step at a time is my advice.
There is no process, just get in.
You pay for it yourself.
You do have a lot of home work and assignments to complete which will take up a few hours. You have to be able to manage your time well, especially if you have other responsibilities. But if you only take on as many subjects as you can do well then it will be ok. We are learning really interesting stuff! The teachers are very good.
The facilities are OK, although the toilets are horrible. The canteen is a nice place to sit and relax and there is decent food, but I know that many people go to the mall or Macarthur Square. You dont always have a very long lunch break though so it's good that the food is edible. The women in my course are lovely and we have good friendships that extend to outside of study. It is annoying to have all the young boys around swearing so much, it's a very different culture here.
i think that I will have better job prospects but at the same time i'm not sure what exactly they are. I know that I have learned more skills and whenever you have more skills that makes you more employable, but you have to know how to market those skills to employers.
