It was a nice experience.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I did not have to write any exams as part of the selection process. I needed a visa. The visa interview experience for Singapore is very easy. It was fairly easy to get tickets. I flew KLM. The service of the airline was good. Unfortunately I was not offered a student fare and not allowed to carry excess baggage. I landed at Singapore airport. I did not face any immigration issues at the port of entry. The university did not offer me a meet and greet service and I had to find my own way.

I was very happy with the way the program was structured. The professors were excellent. The research environment at the university was very good and it was a great learning experience.

ratingYour life experience

I lived in private accomodation. I made a lot of friends there. I had access to the library. When compared to the IIT libraries in India it was an average library. The general social scene was good. The city has very active night life. The weather is similar to India.
