Academic advice - NCSU has several programs, choose the one that fits best for you and apply.
I took GRE and TOEFL. I Studied myself. Visa Interview - Went for student F1 visa and interview was fine. Getting Tickets - Went to a travel agent for tickets, Air Carrier - flew in Air Emirates through Dubai, then to Raleigh where the University is located. I carried 1 cabin bag, 2 of 23kgs luggages. Indian association "Maitri" members picked me up from airport.
As I'm in MS course, unless and until we have good credits from India TA/RA - hard to think and get also.
Huge and Big Lecture Halls, well equipped. Huge collection of books in Library.
Nice place to be in all times and weather is awesome, colorful and beautiful. I'm staying in off-campus apartment. Full sports facilities with big gym.
There is no alumni society, but placement cell, campus placement process and work permit process can be seen.
