I do enjoy my university experience. I like my course and I can say that I am getting the right knowledge and best quality education. Victoria University is a student-focus type of university. They will give you what's best for you. They are considerate as well. There are lots of opportunities and services being rendered to the students. My advice is to focus mainly on your goal, and believe that you can achieve it.
You can directly apply in the university, or if you know an agency that helps students to study overseas, then you should go with them. In my case, I had an agent who processed all my school requirements, and in processing my visa. I gained admission in the university and had easy selection process. My main advice is you should complete all your requirements upon submitting all your documents. It will make the process more easy and fast.
I am really not particular about the funding and scholarship available at Victoria Uni. But they are very flexible and considerate in terms of payment upon enrollment/tuition fee installments.
My course in this term is Computer Science. I study for 20 hours per week, that's 5 hours a day, then I work 20 hours per week as well. I receive the study support I need from my university. My course is truly a value for money.
I love VU for it has good and complete facilities that are very useful to students, well-ventilated rooms, and enough to accommodate everyone. I am currently staying in a flat with my friends so we get to share with all the expenses and the rent. It is truly a big help. The location of the university is in the heart of the city and you are free to enjoy the place!
I am doing a part time job right now, and it helps me somehow to earn extra income for my education, and to provide my daily needs. Tiring that you have to attend uni in the morning, then work in the afternoon, but it helps a lot when you're a student. International students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week. There are lots of possible part time jobs out there, but the key is, you should be flexible and have your own vision and mission in life.
