For those who are trying to get in the Law Enforcement field, Ashworth is the way to go.

Basically, Ashworth is a self motivated school where you will not find yourself pulling your hair out because you have to be in front of your computer when they ask you to, or when a paper or homework is due. I bet anyone who is enrolled with an online school, will go through the financial and academic stress. With Ashworth there is no financial stress, and if there is an academic stress, that's because you're either mentally challenged or plain old stupid. To conclude, they are accredited and recognized by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). It is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as well as The US Department Of Education. If you are still not convinced, then do some research online about these three accreditation agencies. And yes their credits do transfer and are accepted by some institutions and universities, not all. Do your Homework before enrolling!!!!

Many police agencies are becoming more strict when it comes to educational requirements. Very few police departments are accepting High School Diplomas or GED'S (Good Enough Diploma). As for the other police departments, they want 60 college credits or greater. Because of Ashworth, two of my buddies are now police officers for the city of New York.
