I met new friends and made some close mates here in this TAFE. I was returning to study after 2 years of traveling and struggled. Its been nice studying here. My advice to the students is that make good friends and have great fun while you are around.
I applied in person no VTAC, no mature age. The staff were friendly in this matter and gave me the required assistance. It wasnt hard getting in.
I was offered scholarship but I didn’t go for it. I did not want to get involved in such things. My parents help in paying fees.
I am studying OHS, it’s a diploma about responsibilities and safety. The teachers make it interesting otherwise the course is boring. But I still like it.
I worked in many places when I was travelling around Australia. I like to have fun and at the same time I get bored easily, so I like adventure. I was new here to this tafe, had no friends, soon made friends and then life started to get more fun with friends and parties. I am very much happy with my accommodation. I didn’t need to join any clubs as I had plenty of stuff to do with my friends
Yes, this course will help me get a job also I will need to work part time related in my field of study to broaden my employment opportunities which unfortunately I haven’t. I have a long way to graduate, so I will take it easy about joining the Alumni for now.
