I had to write GMAT and TOEFL. I prepared using OG, Kaplan, lot of online stuffs. No coaching classes or educational counsellors were needed. I needed a F1 Student VISA, very easy to get. I flew Air India till JFK and from there US airways. Air India flight was good. But I lost my bag at JFK airport because of US airways. I got compensation. Air india gave me good offer. I landed at JFK and then Pittsburgh International Airport. 23 - 3 bags + 8 kgs + backpack. Seniors come to pick up.

Very happy with my program. Professors are very good. Very kind and always there for students.

I stay in university owned apartment (outside campus), its very cheap and affordable. There are plenty of on campus jobs. Anyone can get it. Juggling between studies and job is not easy though. Vry good social scene. People are quite chilled out. People are very friendly. Night life is great too. Weather currently is very pleasant. Can get very cold during winters. Temperature goes to -20 degrees at times.

Career services has been modified. Separate dean for CS. Ranking has also improved drastically. Students have started getting good offers. But the best is yet to come. Depends on employer. Strong and vast Alumni society. Alumni does help.
