I was always very interested in Physics particularly nanoscale phenomena where Quantum Physics becomes very dominant. At the University of Massachusetts, one of the largest research universities in the United States, both research and graduate students play an important role in the cutting-edge research underway. This would be an issue which I would advise all Indian students to consider. Apply to institutions which are engaged in research similar to your background.
