I have become more independent, social, and confident through every opportunity I have been able to have at OSU. Being involved in several leadership programs helped me to get idea of what I want to do in the future. Also, I have become more flexible in terms of my personality and social considerations which is good for my future. Having experience of being a leader and of studying in different country would absolutely help me stand out from the crowd. I would tell international students not to hesitate and to go for it. Take every opportunity you get and say yes to everything. Be involved as much as you can. It's been the best experience in my life.
The campus is really nice. The buildings and green landscaping are nice. Its a concrete city in my country. Also, the location of OSU is the best; its on the West Coast of the US. People here are nice, very welcoming, and friendly. I have been involved in student leadership association, RHA (Residence Hall Association), and have attended leadership conferences and workshops in other parts of the US. The leadership opportunities have been a great experience. Getting involved in the Cafe Earth project which raised awareness about the environment was interesting. I traveled alone around the West Coast and met more people. The experience of traveling alone in the US and make new friends is quite a valuable experience.
Being involved in several leadership associations and conferences have brought a great growth for me which will positively impact my career.
