I come to class on time, return home on time. Meet up with friends on weekends - thats how i enjoy. If you dont have friends around, it will be a real pain for you to live alone. My advice is make a lot of friends from the first day and please dont be shy, be out-going. Look out for job opportunities too while you are studying. Dont be lazy, eat well, sleep well.
The application process was pretty easy. I enquired about the uni and course through internet, email. I got some information about the course and once when i felt, that was right, i applied for it. The staff were quite resourceful and helpful too.
I dont think i was eligible for a scholarship. The best bet would be to ask the management or the staff about it. I think you need to be a good student with good grades in order to get one.
I ma studying psychology. This course is recognised by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). Its not just psychology, we have other units too but psychology seemed to interest me a lot so i joined this course. I study 4 days a week and the support and resources available to the students are alright.
I use the internet a lot especially for my researches and assignments. I have a few mates here to keep me company when we have nothing to do. The best thing about ballarat is its well connected with metropolitan city like melbourne. The people are warm hearted and you get the best sausage rolls too at a reasonable price in the city. Finding a job for me was quite hard, i tried looking around and failed initially, but i didnt give up. In the end, you will get a job. I use the cafe facility too but i havent joined any of the clubs in my uni.
I am looking to work full time after i graduate and maybe later on do a masters, phd etc. But the first thing is, i want to graduate and get a job full time. I think i should be able to get a job but i need to struggle initially.
