I entered my course by taking the Postgraduate Qualifying Program. PQP is an academic program aimed at preparing students for entry to the Griffith University postgraduate degrees. The program is designed for students whose academic qualifications and/or English proficiency levels are marginally below the entry requirements for coursework master and graduate certificate programs at Griffith University.

My study courses include primary education, curriculum and education studies and professional studies. We also get to go off-campus to schools to develop practical teaching skills and become competent and confident in classroom teaching. The training will also enable us to consider other occupations where planning and organising ability, empathy, communication and highly developed social skills are required.
