It's really good here. Professors were good and helpful. Students can get many part time jobs.
GRE and TOEFL were the exams I gave. I used notes prepared by my sister. I also used few regular books like kaplan, barrons. I did not go to any coaching class but I used few notes from one coaching class which my sister attended. I need F1 student VISA. The Visa interview was simple. It was easy to get tickets. I flew Air India. It was good. I didn't face any immigration problems.
The program was good. Professors were good and helpful. Library and classrooms are state of art.
I stayed with my roommates outside campus. Many sports facilities are made available to the students. Students can get many part time jobs like tha of librarian, helping professors correct under graduate papers etc. Weather is usually hot. Girls can take up mechanical engineering too.
There is a placement service in the university. I got it quite easily. The situation is different now. Alumni network is good but it depends on students how best to make use of it. And, sometimes students do get a job call from alumni help/assistance.
