The learning approach at the university was novel and flexible and the research facilities were amazing. I completed Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine.
I was awarded Research/Teaching Assistantships by the university.
My interests were in the field of Design automation for embedded and reconfigurable systems, VLSI CAD, hardware/software verification using a combination of simulation-based techniques and formal methods. This was a very productive period for me as I was able to publish several papers.
I had the opportunity to work at Somerset PowerPC Design Center, Motorola, Austin and Intel, Santa Clara as a Research Intern during the summer and I gained valuable experience. I was also the president of the Indian Graduate Students' Association, University of California.
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
