Kent state had the best research lab facilities and good faculty and the research work they took matched with my requirements. On the whole, I enjoyed the Masters program and really enhanced my knowledge and skills at Kent.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

My scores at the time of applying: Gre: 1030, Toefl: 257 and UG % : 75. I think the VO was impressed with the UG score, he even commented on it and said that it was "quite respectable". No probs in getting the visa. One tip for students is to be alert when the VO asks you what you'll do after the MS program, assure him that you intend to get back to India and mention some companies back home.

My parents paid for my studies...did not avail of any scholarship.

With an MS degree one can get into any of the MNC with a good pay. A lot of MNC's r doing their outsourcing providing more and more openings.
