The engineering degree that Im currently doing is a wonderful course that enables me to grow and understand what it takes to be an engineer over the period of four years. The subjects are undertaken in such a manner that each one builds on the previous and by the end of it you have a true appreciation for what it is to be a Telecommunications engineer. As hard and challenging it is I do like it. The advice I have for future students is be prepared to study hard and dont take the degree lightly. Lastly I would give it a rating of 4.5
The selection process was easy and so was the enrollment, UNSW should be congratulated for their simplicity they have employed to enroll in to subjects.
Yes. there are availabe which is very competitive as it depends on your grades and your progress throughout the degree
As an engineering student its important to understand that you need to spend a lot of time at university and spend an equivalent amount of time studying at home. The reason for this is simply due to the level of difficulty that engineering presents. It is therefore important to attend all lectures and tutors.
University life is great. However I do wish it was a lot closer to public transport. as it is 20 mins on the bus from central railway station, however the buses are frequent and there are express only for UNSW students that goes directly to the uni and stops at 3 different gates depending which campus u want to get off at
The job prospects are great. I was able to obtain various positions along the course of my degree in engineering and IT companies.
