I think Perth is a great place and it is a great experience for me since I have never been to Australia and the people here are full of energy. The weather is good, the winter ain't too cold and summer is nice. Perth is a great place to study, I can't say too much cos I was here only for 1 semester as an exchange student but I strongly recommend it. It's worth it.
The uni in my home country had assisted in the application process and so the whole process is rather easy.
I had received funding opportunities from my home country. We had free education.
It's a great experience. Quite different from my home country. I manage to use English more frequently and I do see improvements in my English. Other than that, the lecturers and tutors are very nice and they taught really well.
I feel people in Perth are more relax, which is really cool. It makes me feel less stress out in a way even though there's plenty of work to do. I did not join any clubs or unions even though I would be very interested to join a sports club but since I'm only here for exchange, it's not really convenient. The local area is safe and locals are very friendly. I live with another German friend who is studying full time in ECU. It's a great place, close to uni and other shops.
Definitely agree job prospects have increased as a result of my studies but it will be even better if I pursue a higher degree.
