There are 26,000 students here and sometimes that will scare off students who are from smaller towns. But I always seem to run into people that I've met before. For such a large school it does seem small when you look at it and see who you know and who your friends know, and you both know the same person. It is really cool that you have so many connections. It seems like everyone is really connected here.
I like to keep myself busy. I do get overwhelmed at times, but I'm good at handling it. I can handle the stress of classes, working, and organizations. I learned I'm really good at organizing my schedule and getting my homework done. I like to have fun, but at the same time I am serious about my coursework and my studies. I lived in Buchanan Hall my first year and Frederiksen Court the next year. It was really nice not having to deal with bills every month. Even out at Frederiksen Court since it's an apartment you would think that you have to pay monthly bills, but that figure is factored into one lump sum for the semester. That was really cool, because there is a washer/dryer unit in each apartment and you can do as many loads of laundry as you want. It's also very easy to apply your loans and scholarships to.
