Aston University is renowned in the field of neuroimaging and with our 3T MRI and MEG scanner, it is one of the few UK universities offering an advanced psychological research methods programme.In addition to the academic work, Aston offers lots of development courses.
In comparison to my previous studies, there was a shift in the complexity in the material but supportive and knowledgeable staff were on hand of work has really solidified my ambition to forge a path in neuroscience research, I am now expanding much of my existing MRes work as a PhD in collaboration with a local hospital. IT workshops, first aid and volunteering within the community which are helping to build up my knowledge and skillset and prepare me for a career in a neuroscience research that I am very much looking forward to.
