The student life has been an enjoyable experience meeting new friends.
I applied for a permanent residence visa, it took me a year and a half to get my visa. The process was not easy. I had applied it by myself.
I dont know about the scholarship from south west tafe but i have been receiving supplement and benefits from the centrelink in warrnambool.
I am studying multimedia and design. MY course isn't easy for me mainly because of the language. I study from monday through to thursday on an average of 24 hours both on and off the class in a week. My teachers are quite alright but they need some training on how to manage international students. I hope that they were a bit more organised or prepared such as timetable or handouts stuff.
At the moment i am struggling due to limit of access to macintosh computers, i need to use mac computers to do my study. It will be hard to get a job in this little town as i want. I dont join any clubs at tafe but i wish to have opportunities. In warrnambool there is international students night at maritime musuem but i have never been invited.
I am keen to work but in reality it is not easy. I think that this little town is still conservative against foreigners. But in future, i can hope that i can get a graphic designer position. Meanwhile, i should keep applying for jobs to let people know me and also expand my network at the same time.
