I would advice other Indian students intending to study abroad to go for it if you get a chance... studying abroad is great.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

Selection was based on reference letters. I also needed to write a few exams. I needed a visa. Visa interview experience was easy. It was easy to get tickets. I flew Air India. The service of the airline was good. The university offered me a student dicount. I landed at Nebraska airport. The university is about 30 mins from the airport. I did not face immigration issues at the port of entry.

I was happy with the way the program was structured. The professors were good. The research facilities were quite good. The lecture halls were quite ok. The library was average.

The university sports facilities were good. The social scene was not great. I did make friends during the course of the program.
