Getting a chance to intern in the US is an opportunity of a life time and I really made the best of it. We were provided with a very good research environment at the university...it really lived up to my expectations.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

No exam were required for the selection process..only gave in my resume. I needed a visa and the visa interview was a breeze. I flew Lufthansa Airways, no issues in getting the tickets. The service was good, though there was no student fare offered and extra baggage was not allowed. I landed at Tallahasse and thats only a 15 min drive from the airport. No issues during the immigration check. I went on my own to the university as the Meet and Greet service was not offered.

Excellent professors and a well structured program made the whole intern package a wonderful learning experience. I worked under Dr. Eric Chassingnot and learnt a lot from him. I did not attend any lectures. We did not have access to the library.

I lived at the housing provided by the university. The social life was average, but the night life was pretty cool. We had excellent weather...pleasant and invigorating.
