TAMU is a jolly place to study and have fun both at the same time. The climate here is pleasant.
TAMU is a very prestigious school and getting an admit here requires a good academic background. For the visa it's easy and all done online. The visa process was not painful but easy and straight forward. I flew Qatar airways and had a comfortable journey.
The course is nicely structured and the professors give us a tentative plan of the course at the beginning which helps us to know what the course is about, which is the best part. Hours of lecture depend on the course taken by the student. Roughly 20 hrs a week is for studies. The facilities are awesome like a huge gym, swimming pools and tennis courts etc. The course and exposure I get here is surely worth the money I am spending.
The professors are very nice and friendly and their method of teaching is also very simple which makes us understand the concepts. There are many facilities for sports and leisurely activities. Part time employment scope exists. There are many student clubs active on campus and an Indian association that organizes many events.
Job fairs happen on campus for recruitments.
