Sydney Uni is one of the best unis in Australia. I really enjoyed my course at this University. What I can advise to students is to make sure that you fully enjoy your time at Uni.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

As an international student, the process of going to an overseas institution is very difficult at first. It is because it is the first time that you go outside your home country. You need to prepare enough documents to make the process quick and fast for you.

ratingFunding and scholarships

I was sponsored by Ausaid to study overseas. So I had full tuition covered and an allowance of $800 a fornight. This is very good because I have the chance to concentrate on my study without worrying much about my financial situation. I applied through Ausaid in my home country.

My study experience was very good. The best bits are that I can have the chance to talk to people from all over the world, and that made me confident when I could communicate with them. I recieved all the support that I needed. The course is very well-tailored and well-designed. My lecturers and tutors were very helpful to international students.

The facilities at Uni of Sydney are very good. I enjoyed the convenient location. Accommodation was a bit expensive but it was very convenient for me. I could travel to the city in less than 5 minutes by bus. I did not have to look for part time job, and I did not join any clubs or societies.

I am working as a teacher in English in my home country. I will be keeping in touch with my fellow alumni. I did not join any alumni club.
