VU provides the best range of opportunities for students to develop their leadership, communication and personal development skills during the course of their studies. VU takes the concerns of the entire student body about safety and personal protection very seriously. The new safety ambassador program is proof for that.
The best thing about VU is variety of activities for the students to be involved in and stay occupied. I have also participated. The best thing about this is that everybody gets the opportunity to gain some knowledge out of this. Everyone gets the chance and opportunity to be involved in the programme. I participated in the entire orientation program during my first semester and became an orientation host in the second semester.
Back home, I had not travelled to other states inside my country, so I was little afraid about being outside my own country for the first time and in a new place. Although I had no experience in communicating with people from other countries, the orientation day gave me the confidence to communicate with everyone.
