- MA Globalizing Justice
Academically, I think the course is fantastic for the career I hope to achieve - from the knowledge it inspired me to acquire, to the skills I developed and the personal reactions it provoked in me, I think the course is a brilliant foundation.
I was attracted to the MA Globalizing Justice because of its contemporariness. The course covered a breadth of topics and incorporated many different perspectives. I followed a wide range of units on topics such as terrorism, globalization and social policy. My dissertations was on the appropriateness of the modern proposals for a National Identity Card scheme.
The biggest challenge I faced while studying for my degree was the long periods of time when all I seemed to do was uni work , sleep and work to pay my uni fees. Throughout all this time the feeling of being pulled in different directions was immense, so maintaining a clear head and remaining driven and determined for so long was really tough. But by pushing myself so hard I think I discovered a lot about myself.
