Birkbeck has a great reputation, you gain a University of London degree and you can study part time in the evening. The skills and knowledge I have acquired have helped my professional development and career progression.

I specifically choose Birkbeck because of the departments high research rating and the experience of the academic staff. I was surrounded by students who were working within finance, so I had a real connection to actual banking and finance issues. It really helped to have people who understood the subject and challenges of working and studying at the same time.

There were student from a lot of different countries and backgrounds. We learnt from each other and had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the varied company and cultures that I came across here. You will be surprised how many Birkbeck students I bump into in the city!
