I would recommend OSU to other international students but I wouldn't advice people to come here during recession

I took the TOEFL and GMAT for which I took coaching from ITP green park, New Delhi. I did not use services of a counselor as I think self survey of universities exposes students to a lot of options. The Interview was good and very too the point. The interviewer is concerned about your finances and your desire to come back to India. It was easy to get tickets. I traveled by American Airline to Chicago O’ Hare airport. I was not offered any baggage allowance or fare. I didnt face any immigration issues. There was no Meet or Greet at the airport.

There is scholarship in the form of tuition waivers which are easy to get if you have your recos and SOP in place.

I would say that the program is ok not very great! They are decent but there is definitely room for improvement. The lecture halls are very good and seats are comfortable. The library is SPECTACULAR.

I dont live in university housing I share an apartment. We have very good sports facility both indoor and outdoor. Part time jobs are easy to get. Most Indians have part time jobs. The social scene is very good and the nightlife is awesome. The weather is pretty bad especially in the winters. There is an international society, which deals primarily with celebrating festivals.

There is a placement cell that has a placement process however, placements for international students is very tough. It is extremely difficult to get a work permit at this point of time and sponsorship is very very tough. The Alumni society is there but they dont help for placements.
