It’s an amazing place to be an international student because there are so many people to help you adjust and succeed so far from home. I have enjoyed all the things the uni has put together for us. What attracts me to come here is it's size, location and reputation. The small size of Sunshine coast TAFE institute made it even more appealing.
All is going good so far. Institute help me a lot to find out accommodation, and everything initially when i arrived. I apply here by myself. As i already heard a lot about Institute and location. I also got helped by other students and fellow friends.
The best bits for me is the learning activities. The classes and teachers have made it an amazing experience and have made me consider different academic paths very seriously. In Australia it’s more independent learning and you are expected to participate in class.
Socially, I am enjoying the Sunshine Coast. I love going to Mooloolaba for the beaches and the night-life. The Sunshine Plaza is very cool and so is the zoo! All the beaches are a must to see here – along with trying all the restaurants. The Staffing people are always so friendly and helpful. They arrange trips for us and give us monthly handouts, they answer all the questions I have, they always help and are there for whatever.
My favorite courses at Sunshine Coast TAFE have made me consider my academic path.
