Being a overseas student, I observe here that the Australian students are not hardworking in study and they study only surface information. I mean they don't like deep study, so I suggest them that, when they study, always ask him/her self what, when, how and where. Definitely they will achieve the goal.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

First of all I would like to tell that I have spouse visa, but when I came here I noticed that the market is not good for job. So I started my study in IT field. When I came here I am not aware about education system. So I searched lot of courses via internet and learnt admission procedure from web page. As I was interested in Database field, I enrolled in this course. To my surprise, only few TAFEs were offering this course and I lived near Penrith. I have decided to join Hornsby TAFE. I enrolled in Hornsby TAFE without any assistance. I suggest to new comers that before to enrolling in any course, you should find your interest in any particular field and get all information by visiting course outline.

ratingFunding and scholarships

I don’t know lot of things about it. It is difficult for me to get scholarship but to continue my study in university I will apply for it as nothing is impossible.

I already done certification in Oracle and now I want to become certified in SQL Server. Usually I study 25-30 hours in a week. In my last assignment I got first position (91%) in class. Further more you can ask my teacher. His name is Mr. Roy Tell heim and my name is Muhammad Iqbal.

I like my teacher and all the facilities providing by TAFE, because at home I have only one computer so I cant make lot of practice at home using/creating network so I do at TAFE. I am doing part time job at Gudfrys Blacktown. It really helps me to afford my study expense. I love cricket and I already join my local cricket club at St. Mary's.

ratingJob prospects

On completion of my course, I will have one more skills and it will help me in future and as I told i am doing part time job in Godfreys store. So after one year I will have two more skills. I am planning to join 'ACS' (Australian Comp Society).
