Well I was having a lot of dreams of studying in australia. As i want to be a Technologist. My background is in Bachelor of Technology so will decide to go for masters in the same. I have found that USQ is one of the best universities. the method of teaching, the patterns of the classes, the management of the university is the unique. if you really want to be the masters in your profession come to the USQ it will make your future best with heaps of student support, community support, wide range of books collection which will sure help you to get your best results. my advice for future student is make sure what is your interest about studies, be prepare for hard work, and come with confidence in yourself.
It was not very big issue to get a place in university when i applyed for admission, it was an easy process. i had lots of options and it was a big decision for me which university i should go with. But after thinking and matching with my requirements and reputation of USQ i just needed to enroll to USQ. I filled in the forms and send it to USQ, they send me back the confirmation and with some more details of orientation date. The main thing we have to look after is collecting the funds for study and that we have each tax documents ready which, of course, must be true as they are checked by the immigration department, i had received assistance from my family friend who was familiar with the whole visa process. i would like to advise all future student to make sure about fees which need to be pay for their course, and not depend on doing part time work and collect themselves which is quite risk.
USQ has a wide range of scholarship and funding opportunities available for international students as well as Australian citizen. If you didnt prepare for loan you will go to student administration in USQ - they will have some forms which needs to be fill it out and you may receive scholarship. the important thing is provided on USQ website (when and who can apply for scholarship), although USQ also has provide personal loan which also helps students for an emergency. my suggestions is the best secure financial support from home country by obtain student loan.
I am studying Masters in Information Technology, the best bits are making projects which is a professional training on how to do a great job. we have to study more than 30 hours in total each week, 20hours we spend in lecture and rest of the other will need in preparing assignments and studying after classes. Our lecturers are well experienced they all had a number of years experience in teaching, they are very supportive when you need help they will be ready to help you, and guide you. In USQ we also get tutors that help us prepare for an assignments and projects. yes this course is value for money.
USQ is really a college which i have seen in my dreams - anyone would love to study in USQ. The facilities are all here, like internet access, 24hours hours library, study room, project room, USQ club, each building has individual internet access room, USQ also has a medical department, you can make an appoinment with a doctor. The local people are very friendly and supportive. there is a student village consisting of 150 homes. Each unit has 6 bedroom units. The student village is just behind USQ. Moreover, students can get accomodation like sharing room or sharing house which student can afford. yes part time work is not big deal.
yes sure as we have to work on projects and it also make bigger value in our resume. And my result will also help me to get good job in future.
