I decided to choose Angelo State because of the availability of scholarships and funds for International students and also because I wanted to study Physics, which is one of the top-most programs at this school and in the state of Texas. I would advise new students to get involved with various campus events and activities, enjoy their time here at ASU, and take advantage of the myriad of opportunities that this university has to offer.

Ever since my freshman year, I have been involved with the Angelo State Society of Physics Students (SPS). It is a great way to meet fellow physics majors and take part in community outreach efforts and other campus events for student organizations. This has also allowed me to visit different cities like Austin and Washington D.C. ASU provides numerous facilities for both on and off-campus students. I personally have benefited a lot from the fitness and technology facilities available on campus. The Host Family Program is also a big support for incoming international students.
