I am in love with this place the day I came. I have already done my undergrad degree from here hence I am aware of the system. The key to success is work every day in order to excel. We all are used to working just days before the exam, but that strategy does not work here as courses are tougher and require greater degree of understanding rather than mugging up. Incoming students should focus on their approach towards a higher education degree that is their areas of interests, kind of courses they are interested in taking etc. Also inquiries about weather, food, housing facilities should be made well in advance so that later one need not worry about these things.

I think it was fairly easy as I had all credentials going for me, I took help from my seniors and friends for applying, also as I was already here for my undergraduate getting a visa was not that difficult.

I have a Research Assistantship which takes care of my tuition and living expenses.

Professors here go step by step that is first making one understand the basics and then increasing the tempo by introducing practical applications, exercises etc. There are numerous ways of improving ones grade by doing extra credit work, working on presentations. Also we have lot of projects as apart of the courses which help us truly understand the course and its physical implication in the industry. Staff, facilities are amazingly well above the mark and most important is they strive to keep it that way.

Nearest cities are Philadelphia, Pittsburgh. Students, locals are very friendly. I love watching TV, cooking,pubbing etc. I pay around 400$ for my accommodation. I am not much aware of students union as I have lot of friends with whom I spend my free time.

ratingJob prospects

This is one of the most important aspects of ones career that is finding a good job to carry forward ones life. I definitely believe education teaches life's true values, it makes us wiser enough to acknowledge the difference between good and bad. Rest apart I think graduating from a top class American university gives one global recognition and that all ads up to our kitty while searching for a job. I will definitely be in touch with my fellow classmates and professors.
