Lecturers are really good, knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful when students require assistance. Try to enjoy your study and relate with people from food industry background.
I applied for scholarship and received tuition and living expenses assistance from Australian government. There were a few thousand students who applied for scholarship and I was one of 150 students receiving the scholarship. Tip for students: Try to decide which University you would like to study, and then ask for help. Visa was easy to obtain as everything was organized by the scholarship board.
A few scholarships are available either from the government or from the university itself. I found the information from the news paper advertisement. Work hard so you can meet all the requirements for the scholarship.
I had very good lecturers. I studied 30 hours a week. The lecturers are very good and helpful, and friendly. I received a lot of support and I can work in the food industry in a good role.
The university has much better facilities. The environment is beautiful. Students and locals are friendly. First I stayed in mini lodge, then shared the accommodation with a friend , so it is affordable. I did not go for part time job because my study was full time. I joined language associations and religious clubs.
I don’t keep in touch with alumni anymore. I've got a good job which meets my qualification.
