The course that I wanted to pursue was not offered in many institutions in the US. It is offered in USC and the institution has a very good name and is ranked high. I was very happy that I got an admit there.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

Most of the admission work was done by me, I spoke to seniors and got very good feedback from them. I took up coaching for GRE and TOEFL at Jambooree. They did help a lot. I scored 800 in Maths and 540 in the verbal. I did not use any educational counsellor, though I was in touch with Jambooree throughout.

ratingFunding and scholarships

I was not offered any scholarship, but I have heard that it is possible to go and try at the university for Teaching Assistants and Research Assistants.

ratingJob prospects

The USC has a lot of organisations coming to recruit students. The EE department that offers my program is pretty good for placements. Though there is recession now, I think 2 years is a big time and by the time I pass out, I am sure the job prospects would have improved.
