Overall, the learning experience at Depaul University is a valuable and unforgettable one for me.
I didn't have to write any exams as part of my admissions process, but I had to have a certain GPA. I didn't use the services of any educational counselors. I preferred asking friends because some counselors don't know what info is good for international students. I definitely needed a VISA. My interview was not hard at all. I just said hi and the interviewer looked over my documents and stamped my paper. That was it. I bought air ticket myself. I didn't ask any help for that. After that, all the procedures for transportation is just my work, or sometimes I got help from my acquaintance.
I got a PTK international scholarship and It helped me for partial tuition.
I am a transfer student. It's been one quarter here in DePaul. I like here pretty much most of it. Library. Student Organizations, and sports facilities are great. But only one thing I don't like is the quick quarter system.
The city is amazing. The weather is cold however.
First of all I don't think its easy to get a job unless your company's willing to support your new visa status. There's an alumni society at my school.
