It is my objective to apply my knowledge and skills in the field of solid state devices in order to perform a commendable contribution to the scientific community. This was a motivating factor for me to enroll for a PhD program at NJIT. The research facilities at the University was at par with the best. My experience here has been an enriching and eventful one.
As I had previously done my Masters at NJIT, it was relatively easy for me to enroll for the PhD. I did not face any issues regarding visa or other formalities when I came to the US.
I am currently pursuing my PhD at the dept of Electrical Engineering. I gained knowledge on the use of test equipment used for analysis of MOS devices and on the usage of software tools TCAD, HSPICE, CADENCE and SRIM to aid simulation of devices.
I had the opportunity to co-author papers while at the university. I also attended international conferences/workshops/symposiums/meetings, all these added up to a rich learning and research experience for me.
