This university has a good study atmosphere which I liked so much.
This university needs GRE and TOEFL scores. I started preparing for it when I was in my final year of undergrad. I did not not attend any coaching classes but would recommend others to do so. We need F1 Visa. Visa interview was fine; many students' visa got rejected as they could not provide sufficient financial documents as proof. It was easy to get a ticket to my destination i.e. NY. There was no students discount to the fare. I came by British Airways and flight was good. I landed at New York International Airport and it takes approx 1.5hrs to reach to my university. I had to follow standard baggage rule ( 23kg : cargo bag and 8kg :cabin bag). No excess luggage allowed. One of my friends from other university had come to pick me up but we do have meet and greet service by university.
I am happy with the program structure. Professors are really cooperative and help us with clearing all our doubts. Lecture hall are very big and equipped with latest LCD models, projectors, TV, DVD's etc.
It is very easy to get part time jobs in the university premises. Night life in NY is awesome. Weather is very cold during winter but spring and summer is good. We have international student society in our college.
We have employment cell which helps us in getting calls from different companies. Right now with this recession, it is difficult to get hold of any descent job so that is the reason for many students to delay their graduation. Work permit in this scenario is difficult to get. But people with a little bit of job experience find it easy to get calls. We have alumni office.
Located in New York.
