What to expect in LA University of California, Los Angeles

ratingOverall experience

I love this university. Its hard the first year, but it just gets better and better. Just give it a chance, and don't be really intense. Take time to enjoy your surroundings and take advantage of the different opportunities the school offers even if it isn't related to your area of study.

It was pretty difficult to get into the school, it keeps getting harder each year. I didn't receive any help. I didn't have a problem with visa because I live in the States

I didn't apply for any but if you look hard enough you find something. usually through the school

The courses are amazing. Everything is interesting and the professors are great. Depends on the quarter, but I would say I have between 10-17 hours of class. Try new things and keep your horizons open, you'll find something you love.

Yes, because there are a lot of job opportunities in the LA area and the career center is pretty good and again, you have to take the initiative.
