Arizona State University offers a very good Masters program. The course work is very challenging and I liked it very much. The professors, lecture halls, library was everything world class.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I prepared for GRE and TOEFL from Career Launcher institute. They provided an excellent coaching. They also helped me in Visa counseling. I required F-1 visa and as ASU is world class institute in Electronics I got Visa very easily. Going to Phoenix is easy. I first went to New York, stayed there for couple of days at my cousins house and left to Phoenix. I got my tickets through Lufthansa Airlines and they allowed me to carry extra baggage and they gave a student fare. My cousin who is already in the college came to receive me. The immigration at JFK airport New York was very cool.

I was given Graduate assistantship in the second sem which includes a monthly stipend. You can get assistantship if you are competitive.

Part time jobs are tough. Social scene is very good and excellent. Night life is also very good.

ratingJob prospects

The college students get excellent placement opportunities after MS. Campus assists you in finding a job. The alumni association is active. I think the alumni association is helpful I guess.
