The academic programs offered by the university are pretty good. The professors are also really great, so though the university is quite costly, I would say that it is worth it!!
I had wrote GRE & TOFEL but for this Courses their was no requirement of GRE for Santa Clara university. I had got guidance from my friend so i did not join any classes. Visa was required..my interview was very tough lots of questions. I booked tickets myself through internet. I took Singapore airlines and there are many flights available. I got students offer from the airline. SFO airport is around 40-60 miles from university.
There is no scholarship offered for the masters program. Preference is given to MBA and PhD students.
I am very happy with the program. The professors are good. The lecture halls are very good.
Living accommodation is expensive in university. So I live outside sharing room with friends. Currently, it is very difficult to get a job in the university.Santa Clara city is beautiful city. Social scene is fantastic. I have loved every bit of it. Weather is good compared to any other state. It is very pleasant unlike what we find in east coast. There is international club and we host a various events. There is an Indian students community over here called as SWADES. We have many get-togethers and functions held by it. The only problem with this university is that it is very costly.
We have a career center. It is difficult right now as such .work permit process is quite difficult .Alumni does help..but we have to make our own efforts. Its not like that in India. Companies dont come to campus, we have to approach them. But alumni network is quite active and very helpful.
