Reputable, Quality and Endless Possibilities

From a well-equipped infrastructure setting to a highly supportive environment provided by academic staff and researchers, University of Adelaide is well deserved the title of “The Best University in South Australia.” Despite the fact that the university is located in the “City of Churches” where its tranquility and peacefulness perfectly match with the outstanding quality of education Adelaide Uni delivers, I am able to enjoy high standard teachings and world-class facilities without paying an exorbitant fee. Effective support system, vibrant student life, perfect study environment coupled with affordable cost of living, it is definitely the best “stepping stone” of becoming a knowledgeable, innovative and competitive graduate in the society!

My experience in Adelaide!

I am glad that I chose this university. The admission process was easy to follow, and the staff in international student center were really supportive about the admission. The academic staff in Master of Biotechnology(Biomedical) gave me a lot of knowledge and interesting lectures, which inspired me to pursue science. They also gave me professional and helpful advice on my study. I recommend this university to other students who want to have significant experience in other countries.

Olympia College

Olympia College offer lots of opportunities for their students to demonstrate their leadership skills. There are activites going on every month from different clubs such as Student Council, Executive Business Club and others. The lecturers and staffs are friendly and willing to help students. The subjects are very useful for the students after they graduated. For instance, the modules in Hotel Management cover the operation and management part of an hotel. Thus, students get to know well on how a whole hotel operate and manage.

You can't have a better place to experience American life and studies.

My experience in SUNY Plattsburgh started in August 2015. Going from my home in Cameroon and suddenly find myself in a total different world was scary at first. Luckily, Plattsburgh is a welcoming and lovely environment made up of wonderful people who make sure you don't feel lonely and discriminated while you're studying and living on campus. I faced so many challenges, but the most difficult one was the language. Coming from a different country, I had to upgrade my English and most importantly my accent. It was totally different from others and people couldn't get me easily during a speech or conversation. Fortunately for me, Plattsburgh has wonderful instructors who helped me to improve my English and today I feel much more confident when interacting with other students.

A world of opportunities.

My time at SUNY Plattsburgh has been great. The college offers a wide variety of majors where to choose from, with high quality professors that make your learning experience unique. The resources available to help you throughout your college experience are countless. There are dozens of clubs and organizations as well, which help you to grow both as a professional and as a person, and where you can meet people from all over the world. The college is located only a few hours away from major cities such Montreal, Boston and NYC. You can also take advantage of the beautiful Adirondacks to do some outdoor activities.

Finding home in the North Country

I started school here at Plattsburgh back in the fall of 2015. I was very anxious as to how a completely new environment in a new country would come to be, and I can gladly say that I have never looked back. The whole campus community, and especially the Global Education Office have been the best support system that I could ask for. I would highly recommend Plattsburgh to anyone who wants to grow not only as a scholar but also a leader.

A Thriving Experience for International Students

The university provides an amazing support system for its students, including international students to transition into tertiary education. I find the academic staff for my school (School of Biological Sciences) are not there to simply teach for the sake of teaching, but they are passionate about it, which makes a world of difference. This obviously then translates to an increase in my engagement with my studies, which led to me looking for further opportunities, such as a summer research placement which my school was very supportive of.

Amazing university, amazing opportunity, the kind of thing that happens only once in a lifetime to you.

One of the best and most advanced campuses in the world. Very highly educated and knowledgeable staff. Expect difficult courses as the university has a reputation to keep. Takes some time for international students to get adjusted to the system. Care is taken that students do enjoy their time at the uni. Don't miss this amazing opportunity

Life Changing

There's really not anything bad I can say about SUNY Cortland, it's one of the best university to get a well rounded study abroad experience. I ended up staying at SUNY Cortland for 2 years and half, and I enjoyed most of my time there. From the students, to the facilities, to the professors, the room, the social life and even the food; all of which were exceptional. You wouldn't have trouble making friends as most of the students here are very welcoming, especially to international students. The social life is always "lit" and no night in Cortland is a dull one. There are always clubs, house parties or bars for you to have fun at night and makes some new friends in Cortland. If you're not into partying, there are always events set up by the international office where you travel and experience other parts of the USA and even Canada. The school also sets up events such as ice skating, bowling, movies, intramural sports, etc for you to have fun. If you're not into any of these activities, there is always a huge gym and soccer/basketball court for you to play in and get fit. There are so many clubs and organizations in which you can join and get to know people that have similar interests to you, I in fact was in two of them and through that, I got to know so many friends. I also love the food that Cortland has through its meal plan. I must have gone to the dining hall up to 3-4 times per day! There are so many variety of food and the dining hall opens till late at night. The campus is clean and feels like home, and there are always buses to take you to class if you don't want to walk, although the classes are super close to the dorms. Although I recommend staying in the dorms to get to know some fellow American student and be close to your classes, West Campus is not a bad option either, with a soccer field right next to your apartment. The professors are very helpful and understanding, and most of the classes in which i was in was small enough for my professor to know me personally. They are always open to help you, in fact, I got a few recommendations from them. If you ever need money like I did, to travel or to go out at night, the international office will help you find a job and create a temporary working visa for you. I got my working visa within the first week and ended up working at the dinning hall for a semester. Although the job wasn't the most fun one, I did get the money I needed, as well as the experience. The thing I liked the most about this school that I couldn't find anywhere else that I was at, is the exceptional quality and helpfulness of the international office. I must have came to the office at least once per week, with all my questions and favors and they are always there to help me in no time! I also love the events they set up, in which I ended up getting super close with all my fellow international students. Orientation week is a must, I got to know so many people and get so many of the things I needed to do off my chest. I 100% from the bottom of my heart recommend this program, I got to know so many people that became very close friends to me. In fact, a few of my friends help me after my knee surgery and let me stay at their home over the break. The quality of experience and friends you get here is incomparable!
