About Curtin

Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia is Curtin University’s largest international campus and a globally-focused institution with international students from more than 45 countries. Highly-qualified teaching staff from some 15 countries, many of whom hold PhDs in their fields, further strengthen the University’s international outlook.

In addition to experiencing a unique cross-cultural learning environment in Malaysia, students will study courses identical to those at other Curtin campuses and also enjoy an undifferentiated learning experience and similar student support mechanisms.

Curtin Sarawak, a partnership between Curtin University in Australia and the State Government of Sarawak, offers students the unique opportunity to follow courses from a celebrated Australian university right in the heart of tropical East Malaysia. Its internationally recognized degrees are exactly the same as those awarded in Australia. The difference is its unique location in the west coast of Sarawak, with 187,000 hectares of coastal reef on its doorstep and the 140 million-year-old rain forests of Borneo in its backyard.

Study at Curtin Civil Engineering

The education provided by the university or the course itself is very sufficient and relevant to the industry. However, it requires commitment from the student and the student must be willing to want to learn, instead of studying with the ultimate aim to pass ONLY.
