Overview

The UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education was established in 2003 to carry out research, education and capacity building activities in the fields of water, environment and infrastructure. The Institute is based in Delft in the Netherlands. The Institute was established as a UNESCO ‘category I’ institute jointly by UNESCO and the Government of the Netherlands. UNESCO-IHE offers four accredited International Master of Science programmes in Environmental Science, Municipal Water and Infrastructure, Water Management, Water Science and Engineering. The Institute also offers short courses and Ph.D programmes.
