About Waiariki

Toi-Ohomai Institute of Technology has been educating international students since 1986 and understands the unique challenges students face. Choosing to study in a foreign country is a great opportunity to experience another culture. The Institute makes this transition an easy one for students.

Waiariki is New Zealand’s key tertiary provider in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, centrally located on the North Island.

Approved Study Options

Waiariki’s programmes are approved by the New Zealand qualifications Authority (NZQA) and have international recognition. Applied learning is provided at postgraduate and undergraduate levels in technical, vocational and professional fields.
