Established in 1989, Charles Sturt University (CSU) builds upon a rich history of education and research at predecessor institutions stretching back over 100 years. CSU’s regional campuses are located in some of the fastest growing inland cities in New South Wales and Study Centres located in central business districts of Melbourne and Sydney.

Research strengths

Through their research across a wide range of fields, CSU maintains a leading role in providing real solutions to real issues. The University’s research ranges from cardiovascular, plant bio-security, farming systems, enhanced social and environmental sustainability, and irrigation to contextual theology, artificial intelligence and spatial modelling techniques, improving agricultural productivity through molecular biology, and environment and sustainable viticulture.

Multiple location options

International students can study at either one of the CSU campuses in regional New South Wales in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Orange or Wagga Wagga, or at a specialist Theology campus in Canberra or Parramatta, or at a CSU Study Centre located in the central business districts of Melbourne and Sydney.
