English requirements

Students will need to meet a standard of English language proficiency for admission.
   
Academic and other requirements

Undergraduate

Students need to have successfully completed a senior secondary school qualification regarded as comparable to an Australian Year 12 award. Some students will need to complete an English Language Enhancement Course as part of their program.

Postgraduate

Students need to have successfully completed a bachelor degree qualification regarded as comparable to an Australian bachelor degree. There are some degrees, such as Graduate Certificates, where entry can be based on significant employment experience in a specific area.

Griffith International scholarships schemes support international students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

For international students studying on the University's Gold Coast campus, the Gold Coast Student Guild also offers several scholarships. There are also many external providers that international students may apply for a scholarship or grant of busary.
 
For international students wanting to go study abroad on exchange as part of their studies, Griffith offers a range of funding support options for their overseas study experience. Financial assistance includes the International Experience Incentive Scheme, DEST Endeavour grants, OS-HELP loans and many more.
