On-campus accommodation:
La Trobe University offers extensive on-campus accommodation, including residential colleges, residential halls and residential apartments at the Melbourne campus.

The Bendigo campus has developed a variety of high quality residences for accommodating nearly 600 students. The residences are well reputed for facilities and service and offer excellent value for money.

La Trobe’s Albury-Wodonga campus provides 11 fully-furnished and self-contained units which are available on campus.

The Shepparton on-campus accommodation is limited however there are options for off-campus accommodation in the township of Shepparton.

Off-campus accommodation:
There is a wide variety of off-campus accommodation available to suit students' needs, including single room accommodation, board in exchange, full board, shared accommodation and private rental.

Temporary accommodation:
At La Trobe University, students are welcomed at the airport or the railway station and the University arranges temporary accommodation so that new students have somewhere to stay while they settle into their new environment.

Why not try Homestay as your temporary accommodation?
Homestay is living – as a guest – in the home of a local family or resident called a Host. Weekly homestay can include three meals a day, a furnished bedroom, electricity, gas and water bills.

La Trobe University has entered a new agreement with the Australian Homestay Network to arrange homestay placements, which are great opportunities for cultural exchange and learning English. Homestay is available to students at Melbourne, Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga.
