Accommodation

Macquarie has a dedicated Accommodation Service which can give you information on your accommodation options, including temporary accommodation, university accommodation and private accommodation.

Airport reception
Students can book for a representative from Macquarie's Accommodation Services to pick them up from either the Sydney International or Domestic Airport and take them to their pre-arranged accommodation. This is a free service that is available to all international full-degree students who book at least seven days in advance. For details, click here.

Temporary accommodation
The University can also help organise your initial temporary accommodation, so that you have somewhere to stay when you first arrive if your long-term accommodation is not ready, or if you want to find accommodation after your arrive. It is essential that you organise this before you leave home.

University accommodation
Long-term campus accommodation can be booked before you arrive in Sydney, or once you arrive. All University accommodation complexes also have an onsite Resident Adviser, who oversees the logistics, arrival, departure and pastoral care of students.

Private accommodation
Students are advised to view any potential private accommodation before they to agree to move in, to ensure that the location is suitable and the accommodation is appropriate for their needs.
